Portland Oregon
The last few months have ushered in beautiful change. I have recently moved to Portland, Oregon and have been loving the full experience of a new culture.
I have work featured in a few galleries in the city, and will be starting the Master in Teaching ( Art) program this summer at Lewis and Clark College.
I am eager to create new pieces of adornment based on the strong sense of nature and holistic attitude of the area.
MFA Thesis Show!
It has been 3 amazing years here in Grad School, but I am very happy to announce my MFA in Jewelry and Metals exhibit "The Curative Bloom". The works, based on medicinal plants and the relationships to the body will be at the Greenville Museum of Art from December 1-10. I will be having a reception December 5th from 6-9pm, and would love to see everyone!

Women's Jewelry Association!
I am proud to announce that I have been awarded the Women's Jewelry Association 2009 Third Place Scholarship!!! I have been jumping up and down ( well on the inside as not to scare others) the last 48 hours since receiving the letter. Summer 2009 is right around the corner, and I will be spending it at the amazing Buck's Rock Creative Arts camp as a Metals/Jewelry instructor! I am very excited to share my knowledge with high school students,and be a part of this thriving artist community~
Pebble Necklace is a Winner!
I am excited to announce that my Pebble necklace has won the Academic Library and Learning Resources Dean's Award at the 1st Annual Joyner Library Graduate Student Art and Design Exhibition. Please stop by the Joyner Library on East Carolina University's main campus to view my piece and the other excellent work . The Exhibit will be October 25- December 10, 2008

The brooch Cora Bea has been juried into the 51st National Juried Art Exhibition at the Imperial Centre, Rocky Mount NC. I am very excited that the piece will be on display May - September. Please come out and support a great exhibit!
